The History of Universal Office Systems
A family owned and operated business started in 1958, Universal Typewriter and Adding Machine Company, in Los Angeles California, repaired and sold typewriters, adding machines, large desktop calculators, and other office equipment during that era; supporting a family of ten.
In 2007, the youngest son left his successful career in sales management to take over. He changed the name to Universal Office Systems and using his entrepreneurial skills, within two years, rebuilt relationships and created new ones duplicating the success that Universal Typewriter and Adding Machine Co had for its time.
Today, UOS supports major accounts throughout the United States with partnerships with major manufactures of Digital Imaging Solutions. With the support of our industry partners, we educate and inform our clients on the latest document management solutions, giving them the tools to improve productivity, increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
From 1958 until now and well in the future, we will provide the service and support that meets and exceeds our clients’ expectations. That is why our motto is, “It’s All About the Service”.
